The Alpha® Ecoguard Type W5 is a dust collection cover designed for use with high-speed angle grinders when cutting with wider kerf diamond blades. Unlike models that use an internal dust bag, the Type W5 must be connected to a vacuum or external dust collection system to capture dust and debris during cutting operations.

The Type W5 is intended for applications such as tuckpointing and crack chasing, where increased dust volume is generated. Its clear polycarbonate cover allows direct visibility of the blade and cutting area during operation, supporting accurate alignment and controlled cutting.
